Put a Bird On It

Yesterday morning as I awoke to birds chirping loudly outside my bedroom window.  Though it was nice to hear the call of spring I couldn't help wishing the call wouldn't have such a loud voice at 5 AM!  None the less, between the call of the wild activities outside and the cool breeze coming in the window I couldn't help but smile and think of the hilarious clip from Portlandia on IFC.

Love and Glamour at Stone Harbor Resort

Many of us have dreamt of this moment as little girls... we've planned every detail of this day in our minds.  Right down to the perfect white dress, the hair and make up, the bridesmaids dresses, the flowers and of course the groom.   Take a look at the dreamy photos of this Door County wedding we helped create into every little girls dream wedding.

The happy couple had the whole room, cielings and all, draped in fabric and adorned with crystal chandeliers.  Swoon.  The lovely lady, Alliey from Sash & Bow, installed 3000 square feet of fabric to transform the ballroom at Stone Harbor Resort.

Centerpeices designed and created by Buds n Bloom staff featured three unique designs.  Above we created a lush gardeny mixture featuring hydrangea, stock, reflexed Sahara roses, dendrobium orchids and vines surrounded by four hanging mercury glass votives.  Below, our candleabra holds crystal votive cups with a lavish bed of flowers surrounding the base. 

As you can see, not a single detail was missed.   

Glittering manzanita trees with hanging votives, and hanging ranunculus surrounded by clusters of white hydrangea adorned the remaining tables and added a romantic and modern touch to the evening.

Hanging crystal chandeliers... just dreamy.





Hydrangeas in crystal vases adorned the decadent sweets table featuring delicious cakes from The Tasteful Cake.

 As the sun set over Sturgeon Bay it was clear this was truly a night that the happy couple would never forget.  Tara and Chris tied the knot joyously and we tied a very special bow on it.

Terrarium Love

We are so excited about these new hanging mini terrariums we think everyone should be enjoying these as much as we are. We want to hang them in the kitchen window, above our dining tables like this...
